All Norfolk County RAYNET membership/registration cards are being brought up to a standardized form. To help with this we would appreciate it if you could contact your controller for one of the new registration cards. This will need to be filled in and returned with a passport size photo of yourself.

NOTE:- Not all members will need to go through this process as these cards have been issued for a while and if you look at your membership card, you can tell if you have a new card, because it has the expiry date of 30th September 2010 underneath your group. (The old North Norfolk cards have a date of issue on them, not an expiry date)

Please remember when you get a new call sign – M3 to 2E or 2E to M0, that you will also need to submit a new form complete with a photo so that a new card can be issued to you.

When filling in the form, DO use the back section to

1) record if you don’t want your phone number Home OR Mobile to be placed on the Web site Call out list.

2) if you have something which might hinder you from taking part in an emergency call-out (e.g. no transport, difficulty physically moving etc.)

3) Emergencies would be difficult , but able to act as a relief in an on-going emergency i.e. with plenty of notice and reasonable access e.g. a silver control or rest centre

Our user services will be told of this new standardized membership card to help with security and identification. I understand that there are members who might not be able to go to emergency call out situations but if a long term need for our services arises it may be that you might be able to assist to relieve other members. It is in case of this unlikely event we ask that you maintain an up to date membership card to prevent any misunderstanding by our user services.
